This workshop is an invitation to begin anyway.
In this relaxed, hands-on class, we’ll explore simple stitches and textured fibers as a way of working intuitively. No plan, no pressure, no experience needed. Just a willingness to try, to play, and to see what happens.

We’ll begin with a few foundational stitches and build from there, layering thread, texture, and small elements to create a one-of-a-kind piece. Along the way, I’ll share how I approach my own work, where each piece grows slowly and organically, one stitch at a time.
You’ll have access to a curated selection of fibers and materials, allowing you to follow your instincts and create something that feels uniquely your own.
This is not about perfection.
It’s about curiosity, texture, and letting something unfold.
You’ll leave with a strong start on a stitched piece you can continue exploring at home, along with the confidence to keep going.
All materials are provided, including needles and scissors, though you’re welcome to bring your favorites if you have them. If you already have a stitching project in progress, feel free to bring it along. I’m happy to help you work through questions or challenges.
