Wreaths for the Front Door We Love in 2022

Fall is right around the corner, so you know what that means: it’s time to get out our pumpkins, flannel, and rustic home decor,Yay!

Wreathsare seasonal staples that bring style and character to an otherwise bare front door. They are an easy way to dress up your front porch area for Fall and can be easily transitioned for Winter decor as well.

What kind of wreath should I get?

You have two options when it comes to your Fall wreath for your front door: buy one that’s already made, or make your own.

Here are some things to consider when shopping for wreaths:

  • Materials: Look for weatherproof materials and descriptions that use words like “anti-rust” and “sturdy” to make sure your wreath can withstand the weather.
  • Size: Choose the right size of wreath for your door. The standard wreath sizes are 24 inches or 36 inches, and you’ll want the wreath to cover about two-thirds of the width of your door.
  • Style: there are many different styles of wreaths out there, but before you succumb to the latest trends, make sure it suits the style of your home.

Keep in mind that if you can’t find exactly what you’re looking for, you can always make your own wreath, or add a few Real Touch Flowers or Fall accessories to spice up a wreath you already have laying around at home from last Fall or Winter.

Let’s look at wreath designs that we are loving this season, and simple DIY hacks to upgrade your wreath from last year.

Pottery Barn

You can never have too many pumpkins- pumpkins on your porch steps, velvet pumpkins on your mantel, and now pumpkins in your wreath for the front door! We love the minimalist feel and neutral tones in this one- it makes for an easy front porch addition to match almost any style.

DIY Tip: If you already have a wreath you love, but want to make it a bit more festive for Fall, add some of these velvet pumpkins stemsthroughout rather than buying a whole new wreath.

We love this wreath because it is truly trans-seasonal. Hang this beauty with white ribbon above your headboard or fireplace for an element of year-round boho decor in your home. The golden yellow hues do make this wreath perfect for Fall, though- reminiscent of lush wheat fields ready for harvest.

DIY Tip:Add some fiery orange pampas grassor orange Real Touch flowersto the mix for a  gorgeous pop of Fall color. You can find many faux types of grass and foliage perfect for Fall decor at Home by Zinnia’s and Zinnia’s Gift Boutique.

The light dusting of crystals on the greenery of this wreathis complimentary to both Fall and Winter, making it one of the more versatile wreaths on our list. This gorgeous mix of greenery and pinecones make for a sophisticated display and an excellent base for adding faux flowers and accents of your own.

DIY Tip: Add silver bells and red accents to the wreath for a winter display for some festive flair. If decorating the wreath for Fall, add dried foliage in reds and oranges.
